I have heard from my friend and have oponed website UPM that you are one of Doctor Of Philosophy Pengajaran Bahasa Melayu lecturers. Because of that, I will plan to continue my study S3 (Doctor of Philosophy) in your university.
My name is Arono, M.Pd. I am 31 years old. I had graduated of Indonesian Education Department, S1 and S2, from Padang State University. Right now, I am an Indonesian lecturer in Indonesian Education Department, Bengkulu university, Indonesia.
Before I register in your university, I would like you willing to be my advisor if I am accepted in your university later on. My research problem for my dissertation will discuss about DEVELOPING MODULE AND LISTENING INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS FOR STUDENTS OF LANGUAGE, INDONESIAN LITERATURE, AND TERRITORY BASED ON CTL THAT IS INTEGRATED WITH ASSIGMENT WHICH FOCUSED ON MULTIMEDIA. I will do this reasearch because the development of information technology causes the changing of everything in many aspects in our life. In addition, the students themselves are also low ability of listening skill, and the planning of listening activity from the teacher is seldom done. Futhermore, the problems occur because of need of curriculum based on competence in 2004 and curriculum KTSP (Kurikulum Tingkat Satuan Pendidikan) in 2006, need of listening skill for students as candidate of professional teacher, and need of schools or students at senior or junior high school in listening skill which are more competence.
I hope fully that you are willing to be my advisor later in finishing my dissertation. Your willingness is needed so much for me to propose the scholarship to continue my study S3 (Doctor of Philosophy) from my government, Indonesia. After I get the scholarship from my government, I will register to your university. I hope you will forgive me if there are some words which aren’t appropriate.
