Six new 5s

THE current BMW 5 Series has won many admirers with its balanced package of style, presence and performance. Now the looks, driving experience and comfort have been taken to a new level with improvements, inside and out, including a range of new engines and six-speed automatic transmissions.

The new BMW 5 Series also offers a wide range of innovations in driver assistance and comfort features. For example, it is the only car in its segment available with Active Steering, a High-Beam Assistant, BMW Night Vision, a Head-Up Display and Cruise Control with brake function as well as Lane Departure Warning.

BMW has given the 5 Series a host of new features.

In terms of looks, the new 5 Series has been enhanced with horizontal light edges and newly designed taillights that emphasise the width of the car.

BMW Night Vision, BMW’s state-of-the-art infrared technology that enables drivers to detect and avoid far-off road obstructions as well as on coming traffic a lot sooner, is also made a standard offering in the M5, 540i and 530i variants.
