Bank stalkers: Call the cops

KUALA LUMPUR: Members of the public have been urged to call the police if they see suspicious-looking characters loitering in or outside banks.

Police said tip-offs from the public went a long way in deterring crime such as robberies and snatch thefts.

City police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Muhammad Sabtu Osman said police were constantly receiving reports of people getting robbed right after they made large withdrawals from banks.

“Please call us at our Rakan Cop Hotline at 03-2115 9999 or SMS to 32728 to inform us if you find anyone behaving suspiciously in or outside banks,” he said at a press conference at the city police headquarters in Jalan Hang Tuah here Tuesday.

I went to SOGO last week with wife and later we realized we’re being followed by a suspiciously acting stranger (not Malaysian) from the ground to the top floor.

Must thought we’re dumb. We alerted the guard, who soon flew into action, grabbing this guy.

    Padan muka.

Zul …. the one acted strangely was non M’sian , see, are we brave enough to do that if we are in a foreign lands to the locals?
Likewise those ‘muggers without touching’ …… are also non M’sian and Muslims.
The best is stay home and keluar bila perlu sahaja.
